SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY – ENVIRONMENTAL ASPECT
Hotel Bioterme operates in terms of environmental protection and as such is considered an environmentally friendly tourist accommodation. We strive for less air pollution, more economical use of energy and other natural resources, less pollution of the environment and the surrounding area.
We ask that you support our environmental goals with your behavior.
WATER
The water from the plumbing system is potable. Water is one of the most precious commodities, so please use it sparingly and turn off the taps. Please consider some of our water-saving suggestions: turn off the water while brushing your teeth, shampooing and washing your hands, choose a shower instead of a bath, turn off the taps after use, toilet bowl flushers allow you to choose whether to flush more or less water. Please report any water leaks to the reception immediately. It is not allowed to pour environmentally harmful substances into the drain.
WASTE SORTING
The bin in the bathroom is intended for organic waste. Throw all other waste in the bin in the room. We will take care of sorting them during daily cleaning. Please do not flush waste into the toilet bowl.
HOTEL LINEN CHANGE
For environmental reasons, we kindly ask you to handle hotel linen with care and request changes only when necessary. This helps conserve the environment by reducing energy and water consumption as well as the use of detergents.
Please place the towels you wish to have replaced in the bathtub or shower.
Bathrobes and bed linen are changed every 7 days.
More frequent changes of towels, bathrobes, or bed linen are available at an additional charge and upon prior request at the hotel reception.
ELECTRICITY
Please use electricity sparingly.

HOUSE RULES
ARRIVAL AND DEPARTURE TIME
On the day of arrival, the room is available from 2 p.m. On the day of departure, you can use the room until 10 a.m. Guests who wish to extend their stay until 4 p.m. on the day of departure will be charged according to the current price list.
If you want to extend your stay, please inform the reception one day in advance.
HOTEL BILL
You can settle the hotel bill at the hotel reception from 6:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. or on the day of departure until 10:00 a.m. In the case of a longer stay, the bill must be settled every 7 days, and the balance upon departure.
If you cannot use the reserved wellness services, please cancel them at least 2 hours before the booked appointment. If you do not cancel the service, we will charge you the full price according to the current price list.
SCHEDULE OF BOARDING MEALS IN THE HOTEL RESTAURANT

- dinner: 18.00 – 20:00
Guests of Hotel Bioterme enjoy board meals in the restaurant of Hotel Bioterme.
Food may not be taken out of the restaurant.
SWIMMING POOL RESTAURANT
Winter opening hours:
– from Monday to Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m
– Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m
– Sunday from 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m
Summer working hours from 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.
CANCELLATION OF MEALS
Meal cancellations are accepted only if they have been reported to the hotel reception in time: for lunch by 09:00, for dinner by 15:00 on the same day.
Breakfast is included in the price of overnight stay and cannot be cancelled.
If you wish, we can prepare a meal of dry food (so-called packed lunch) if you order it by 08:00 in the morning at the hotel reception.
TOWELS AND BATHROOMS
Place the towels you want to change in the bathtub or shower. We will change your bathrobe every 7 days. If you want us to change it for you more often, tell the hotel maid, who will issue you a new bathrobe for a fee. Bed linen is changed once a week.
NIGHT’S REST
Night rest is guaranteed to guests from 11:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m., so please be considerate.
FORGOTTEN ITEMS
Before you leave, double-check to make sure you haven’t forgotten anything. We only send found items home at your request. The guest is responsible for shipping and packing costs. We keep them for a maximum of one month, after which we act in accordance with the regulations.
DRESS CODE
We ask that you wear your bathrobe only in the hotel room, in the corridor, when visiting the swimming pool, saunas and spa center. Relaxed and elegant clothes are preferred in the catering areas.
SMOKING
Smoking is not allowed in the hotel. Smoking is allowed on the balcony and hotel terraces.
DAMAGE TO INVENTORY
Inventory damaged by the guest in the room or elsewhere in the hotel is charged based on the estimated damage. You settle the bill at the hotel reception.
WASHING, SEWING, IRONING AND COOKING
Washing, ironing, cooking and the like are not allowed in the hotel rooms. Put the laundry in a bag by 9:00 a.m. and/or arrange it with the maid on the floor. You will receive your laundry in your room the same day you check it out. Possible minor sewing repairs.
ELECTRICAL INSTALLATION
The mains voltage is 220 V. If you need an adapter, make arrangements with the hotel reception. The electric connection in the bathroom is intended exclusively for the use of the shaver. The use of heating elements is prohibited for safety reasons. Please use electricity sparingly.
ELECTRIC CHARGER – 22 kW
It is located in the parking lot opposite the Bioterme Hotel under a canopy.
You can get a card for the electric charging station at the hotel reception against a deposit of €50.00.
When the card is returned, the consumption is checked. The cost of consumption can be given to your room or paid on the spot.
POWER FAILURE
In the event of a power failure, the emergency generator is switched on, which enables the use of the most essential devices.
In the event of a power cut, the water supply does not work.
In the event that the aggregate does not turn on, a complete breakdown of the operation of the devices occurs. In such extreme cases, we kindly ask you to contact the hotel reception, where you will be given a key to enter the room.

DRYING
Please dry wet clothes on the radiator in the bathroom or on the outside clothes dryer. Drying on the balcony railing is not allowed.
SERVICE DELAYS AND CANCELLATIONS
Guests are asked to arrive on time for services. If you unreasonably miss the booked service, the service time will be shortened. If the delay is too long (over 10 minutes), the therapy is considered completed and will be charged.
If you cannot use the reserved wellness services, please cancel them at least 2 hours before the booked appointment. If you do not cancel the service, we will charge you the full price according to the current price list.

ANIMATION
The weekly animation program can be found on the information boards (connecting corridor, elevator). You can get more detailed information at the reception or from the animator.
SURVEY
We will be happy if you fill out the questionnaire and drop it in the mailbox in the lobby of the thermal park or at the hotel reception. Your opinion will help us maintain the quality of our services.
SWIMMING POOLS AND SAUNAS
The winter opening hours of the pool areas are:
– from Monday to Thursday 9:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m.,
– Friday 9:00 a.m. – 9:00 p.m.,
– Saturday 8:00 a.m. – 9:00 p.m.,
– Sunday 8:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m. (if the next day is a holiday until 9:00 p.m.)
The summer opening hours of the pool areas are:
– from 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m
The opening hours of the outdoor areas are thus adapted to the outdoor weather conditions in summer and winter.
The opening hours of the saunas are:
– from Monday to Friday from 12:00 to 20:00
– Saturday and Sunday from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m
During your stay, you can enjoy swimming in the indoor and outdoor pools of the thermal park.
In addition, the pool on the 1st floor of the Bioterme hotel is open during the summer season. Close to the hotel pool and the outdoor bathing area, naturist guests can also enjoy the FKK terrace.
The biological pool is available exclusively to guests of the Sunvalley glamping site, where you can swim in natural water purified by plants.
ATM
The ATM is located in front of the hotel entrance. You can also withdraw cash at the Post Office of Slovenia, which is located in the connecting corridor towards the swimming pools, which connects the hotel with the thermal park.
AWAKENING
You can order a phone wake-up call at the hotel reception, on the phone number 00386 565 2000.
MONEY AND JEWELS
You can keep them in the safe in the hotel room.

HOTEL CARD
The hotel card is the document you use to identify yourself in our hotel, so keep it with you at all times.
HOTEL CARD – KEY
Hotel card – the key gives you access to the hotel room. Make it impossible to enter the hotel room from the outside by closing the door. The loss of the hotel card – key will be charged according to the valid price list.
Card operation:
You bring the card closer to the reader on the right or left side when entering the room:
- When the green light flashes, you open the room door,
- if the yellow and red lights are flashing, it means that the room is locked on the inside with a pin, or that it will not be possible to open the room with this card, so you need to call the reception to reprogram your card.
When entering the room, insert the card halfway into the cardholder by the front door, so that you can use all electricity consumers in the hotel room.
When you leave the hotel, be sure to hand in your hotel card at the reception.

AIR CONDITIONING
All rooms are air-conditioned. You can regulate the air conditioning as you wish + -, the air conditioning is activated only if the balcony doors and windows are closed, the air conditioning does not work even if your card that unlocks the room is not in the card holder at the door.
BOOK OF IMPRESSIONS
At both receptions, you can write down your opinions and suggestions about the range and quality of our services in the impression book.
“DO NOT DISTURB” HANGER
Hanging a “Do Not Disturb” sign on the door handle on the outside will alert the maid that you do not want to be disturbed.
VISITS IN THE ROOMS
These are only allowed upon prior registration at the reception.
BLANKET
An extra blanket is available in the closet of your room.
FAILURE
Please notify the hotel reception or the maid of any malfunction. You can also report the error to the telephone number 00386 565 2000.
CHILDREN’S Crib
A cot can be ordered at the hotel reception for an additional fee.
PARKING
Free parking is available in the outdoor parking lot or for a fee in the hotel’s basement garage. There are also parking spaces for the disabled. All information is available at the hotel reception.
SALE OF NEWSPAPERS, MAGAZINES, POSTCARDS AND SMALL ITEMS
You can buy daily newspapers, magazines, postcards, stamps, cosmetics and other small items in the shop and at the Post Office in the connecting corridor towards the swimming pools and at the hotel reception. We offer free newspaper in the hotel cafe.

FIRE PROTECTION INSTRUCTIONS
Dear guests!
Hospitality and safety are everywhere in our house. Although there is a very small probability that a fire would break out, we are prepared for this case as well and ask for your cooperation.
PREVENTIVE MEASURES
Upon arrival, familiarize yourself with the location of your room in the building, the routes and passageways for emergency exit, and the placement of hand-held fire extinguishers. All this information is written in the evacuation plan, which is displayed in your room.
Smoking is prohibited in the room!
It is forbidden to use your own devices for cooking, heating and ironing.
It is forbidden to enter the premises for employees.
NOTICE
In the event of a fire, we will inform you of the location and provide you with all necessary instructions.
If you discover the fire and the location of the fire yourself, call 00386 565 2000.
RESCUE
Do not use the elevator to escape in case of fire.
Retreat along the paths marked on the maps in your rooms.
ACTION IN CASE OF FIRE
Keep your composure and sanity.
Try to put out the initial fire yourself with installed firefighting equipment or handy means.
